Summertime & Videopremiere


Liebe Blueser,


wir hatten tolle Konzerte in England, Schottland, Belgien, Deutschland, der Schweiz, Spanien & Frankreich! Danke an alle, die uns eingeladen, besucht und zugehört haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf!


Nun spielen wir noch genau 5 Konzerte bis es in die Sommerpause geht.

Morgen sind wir in Ulm auf dem WeROCK Benefiz Festival und am Samstag spielen wir im HeyHoef Backstage in Tilburg. Am 30.06. spielen wir im Kulturbahnhof in Cloppenburg, am 01.07. auf dem Open Air vor der Bastion in Kirchheim unter Teck und am 09.07. auf dem Open Air am Walchenseekraftwerk in Kochel am See. Kommt vorbei :)

Die Herbsttour ist nun auch fast komplett und im Vorverkauf und spätestens bis dahin ist auch ein neues Vinyl Live-Album fertig, das wir im letzten Herbst in den LITTLE BIG BEAT STUDIOS eingespielt haben. Morgen gibt es davon eine Video-Premiere auf YouTube von dem Titel ,Business Straight‘ unter folgendem Link:

Dear Blues Lovers,

we had great concerts in England, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Spain & France! Thank you to everyone who invited us, for coming to the gigs and for listening. We love to come back and are already looking forward to it!

Now we play 5 more concerts until the summer break. Tomorrow we will be in Ulm at the WeROCK Charity Festival and on Saturday we will play at the HeyHoef Backstage in Tilburg. On June 30th we play at the Kulturbahnhof in Cloppenburg, on July 1st at the Open Air in front of the Bastion in Kirchheim unter Teck and on July 9th at the Open Air at the Walchenseekraftwerk in Kochel am See. Join us :)

The autumn tour is now almost complete and on sale, and by then at the latest a new vinyl live album will be released, which we recorded last autumn at the LITTLE BIG BEAT STUDIOS. Tomorrow there will be a video premiere on YouTube of the title 'Business Straight' at the following link:

das war eine tolle Tour mit vielen schönen Konzerten - es hat großen Spaß gemacht, für Euch zu spielen und wir danken allen, die dabei waren! Herzlichen Dank auch für Eure guten Wünsche und die lieben Kommentare zum letzten Newsletter – ich habe jeden einzelnen gelesen und mich SEHR darüber gefreut.


Nun machen wir eine kurze Pause bevor es dann am 28.04. für ein Doppelkonzert mit Kenny Wayne Shepherd nach Berlin in die Verti Music Hall geht. Fast direkt im Anschluss geht’s mit der Fähre nach England & Schottland – nach über 4 Jahren freuen wir uns sehr auf unsere Fans dort! Auf dem Rückweg halten wir in Belgien und spielen am 10.05. in Verviers im Spirit of 66, dann geht’s auf die Inninger Bluestage am 12.05. und danach für zwei Konzerte in die Schweiz nach Mels & Solothurn am 13. & 15. Mai.


In den Tourdaten findet Ihr außerdem noch ein paar Festivals im Sommer, u.A. ein Konzert auf der Waldbühne in Wuppertal, für das wir uns wieder etwas Besonderes überlegen. Ebenfalls ist nun die Herbsttour schon fast komplett online und im Vorverkauf – hier und da kommen bestimmt noch Konzerte dazu.


In unserem Online-Shop gibt es noch ein paar Tourshirts von der aktuellen Tour und seit Kurzem auch das Cable Car Records T-Shirt in Weiß.


Uns erreichen viele Emails mit Anfragen bzgl. der Download-Codes älterer Alben – leider

Dear Blues Lovers,


that was a great tour with many beautiful concerts – we had lots of fun playing for you and we would like to thank everyone who was there! Many thanks also for your good wishes and the kind comments on the last newsletter - I read every single one and was VERY happy about it.


Now we're taking a short break before heading to Berlin for a double concert with Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Verti Music Hall on April 28th. Almost immediately afterwards we will take the ferry to England & Scotland - after more than 4 years we are looking forward meeting our fans there! On the way back we will stop in Belgium and play in Verviers at the Spirit of 66 on May 10th. Then we're going to be part of the Inninger Bluestage on May 12th and after that we will be playing two more concerts in Switzerland in Mels & Solothurn on May 13th & 15th.


You will find a few more festivals within the tour dates, including another concert at the

Waldbühne in Wuppertal, for which we will come up with something special again. The fall tour is almost completely listed and on sale - there will be more dates added here and there.


In our online shop there are now a few shirts from the tour and since recently also the Cable Car Records T-Shirt in white.


We receive a lot of emails with requests for download codes of older albums - unfortunately we can't manage it the way it used to be, but you are welcome to contact us directly at: media@cablecarrecords.com.

An meine Freunde / To My Friends




Liebe Blueser,


wir freuen uns sehr auf die anstehende Tour und hoffen, Euch alle bei den Konzerten zu sehen. Wir haben uns ein neues Programm überlegt, spielen noch mehr Songs vom neuen Album, gehen aber auch auf Eure Wünsche ein, schickt uns also gerne weiterhin Eure Lieblingssongs.


Und jetzt etwas in persönlicher Sache: Ihr helft mir dabei, das tun zu dürfen, was ich liebe, und seid alle meine Freunde, daher möchte ich heute etwas sehr Besonderes mit Euch teilen: Ich werde Vater.


In freudiger Erwartung musste ich anders planen, um zum Geburtstermin und die Zeit drum herum auf jeden Fall zu Hause sein zu können. Daher habe ich auch schon mit vielen Veranstaltern gesprochen und musste ein paar Termine im Sommer absagen bzw. auf das nächste Jahr verschieben, u.a. das Herzberg Festival, auf das wir uns nun schon seit mehreren Jahren freuen, und auch die Joe Bonamassa Mediterranean Cruise, für die wir bereits fest gebucht waren. Auf diesem Wege möchte ich mich auch bei allen Veranstaltern für das Verständnis bedanken und für die Selbstverständlichkeit, mit der die Absagen akzeptiert wurden – und natürlich auch bei Euch!


Jetzt geht’s erst einmal auf Tour und ich freue mich sehr darauf, mit Euch allen zu feiern!

Dear Blues Lovers,


We very much look forward to the upcoming tour and hope to see you all at the shows. We have come up with a new setlist, will play even more songs from the new album, but are also open to your suggestions, so please feel free to keep sending us your favorite songs.


And now, on a personal note: you help me to be able to do what I love, and you all are my friends, so today, I would like to share something very special with you: I am going to be a father.


In joyful anticipation, I had to change some of my plans to be able to be home for the due date and the time around it, no matter what. That's why I’ve already talked to a lot of the promoters and had to cancel a few shows in the summer or postpone them to next year, including the Herzberg Festival, which we've been looking forward to for several years now, as well as the Joe Bonamassa Mediterranean Cruise, for which we had already been booked and confirmed. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the promoters for understanding and accepting the cancellations with ease - and of course, I would also like to thank you!


Now we are ready to hit the road, and I'm really looking forward to celebrating with all of you!
